Welcome to West Texas Fireplaces. The company started out in the chimney sweep and fireplace business in 1981. In 1994, the chimney sweep business went full-time and has been building relationships with customers and serving Lubbock and the surrounding areas ever since. For over 20 years, the company wanted to open a fireplace retail store and in 2019, a building was purchased and the process of renovation began. Our first showroom opened in Slaton, Texas. In 2023 we proudly opened our new fireplace showroom in Lubbock, Texas with the most advanced and latest models anywhere on the South Plains.

You can rest assured knowing all of the technicians at West Texas Fireplaces are certified through the Chimney Safety Institute of America (CSIA); as well as one technician having a National Fire Institute (NFI) gas certification. Our showroom features the latest gas, electric and wood-burning display units along with stoves and inserts. We also carry gas logs, mantels, tools and accessories in stock. West Texas Fireplaces is proud to offer well-known brands like Lopi, Fireplace Xtrordinaire, Modern Flame, and Mason-Lite, just to name a few. We sell quality glass doors made by Stoll and Thermo-Rite, mantels by MagraHearth, as well as top-quality brands of gas logs like Hargrove and Grand Canyon, just to name a few.

Joe –
Joe is a certified service technician at West Texas Fireplaces and has been with us since 2021. His favorite part of his job is the people he works with and always doing different things each day. In his spare time, Joe enjoys attending baseball and soccer games with his two sons. They love to attend outdoor sporting events together.
Darren –
Darren is one of our certified service technicians and has been with West Texas Fireplaces since 2020. He loves the people he works with and wants to make sure his customers are happy. In his spare time, he loves family time with his wife and daughter. Darren wants customers to know we strive for success and go above and beyond for their satisfaction.
Jodi –
Jodi is the office manager at West Texas Fireplaces. She has been with us since 2021. Her favorite thing about her job is the people she works with and the customers she helps. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her children, attending her son’s sporting events, making crafts and singing with her daughter. She says, “I am blessed with two amazing kids and an awesome job.”
Gloria –
Gloria is the main office receptionist at West Texas Fireplaces. She joined the company in 2021. Her favorite thing about working at West Texas Fireplaces is her co-workers! She is married to her husband, Deacon Paul, of 34 years. Gloria enjoys playing with her grandchildren, painting, and working on her Cricut. She is a parishioner at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Slaton, Texas.
Chris –
Chris is the lead certified chimney technician at West Texas Fireplaces. He has been with the company since before opening in October 2020. His favorite thing about working at West Texas Fireplaces is meeting new people and helping customers solve their problems. Chris also has an NFI gas certification. He is the father of a daughter and a son. In his free time, he loves painting miniatures and playing games.
